"Bread of Grain or Bread of Life?"
Passage: John 6:26–6:29, Philippians 1:21–1:24
While intoxicated, Captain Jack Aubrey, a character in Patrick O'Brian's novel Master and Commander, once said that, "When given a choice, while serving in his majesty's royal navy, an officer must always choose the lesser of two weevils." Jesus offers us a more appetizing option, bread of grain or the Bread of Life. One feeds the body and is short lived, the other the feeds the soul and is eternal. Which do you choose?
