Daniel 8 - A Study in Daniel
Topic: The Making of a Prophet Passage: Daniel 8:1–14
The Boy Scouts of America have an oath and a law which resquires their scouts and leaders to do their duty to God and be reverent. Especially during the Christmas season of celebration, as we explore Daniel chapter 8, we will start to see vast differences between the Sovereign Lord our God, our Emanuel, and the foretold pretender, the Anti-Christ. Exploring this contrast, which was established in the wake of prophesies, should give us pause about what it means to be reverent and what our duty to God really entails. As we walk through life, do we put ourselves "in place of" or under our Savior?
Join us this Sunday morning at 10:30 as we worship the Lord with joyous hearts, and learn more about what duty to God means. Please bring some non-perishable food or canned goods to help restock the local food bank in January.
