Being All-in - A Study in Daniel
Topic: The Making of a Prophet Passage: Daniel 6:4–6:27
As parents, little league coaches, den leaders, employees, and even students, we know what it is like to be one hundred percent vested in a person, organization, cause, or event, but those are just temporary roles that we fill. As Christians, our impact today has implications which are eternal, but to many of us that means that we have more time to get around to filling this role. Chapter six of Daniel reminds us of what it means to be “All-in” for God and how our life fits into that role.
The original head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Landry, stated, “Today you have 100% of your life left.” As Christians, what are we going to do with it? Are we “All-in?”
